The PSNI has arrested two men in Londonderry after a serious assault in Co Donegal earlier in the week.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of the serious assault of a man in his 20s.
The incident happened at a house in Lifford at around 10am on Monday and one man in his 20s was airlifted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast with serious injuries
Another man in his 60s was brought by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital with less serious injuries.
Gardai have appealed for information and for anyone who may have camera footage (including dash-cam footage) from the Coneyburrow Road in Lifford between 10am and 11am to come forward.
The PSNI has been assisting Gardai in the investigation and late on Tuesday night arrested two men in the Derry area.
The men have been arrested on suspicion of serious assault and are currently in police custody.
