Vogue Williams has cheekily confessed that her husband Spencer Matthews is none the wiser after she secretly ended her dry January.

On her podcast with sister Amber Wilson, Vogue revealed she couldn’t resist “a few glasses of champagne” at a child’s birthday bash at London’s swanky Dorchester hotel.

She quipped about not counting it as breaking her alcohol-free vow, saying: “I don’t count that. Do you know why? Because first of all it was champagne, if it was prosecco I wouldn’t have done it, second of all I went home and had a cup of decaf tea.”

“And Spencer doesn’t even know that I broke dry-January, I didn’t lie, I just didn’t tell him.”

Earlier in the episode, Vogue explained how she found herself at the Dorchester for the party, anticipating it would be an event worth attending.

She indulged in “four maybe five” glasses of Veuve Clicquot champagne, ending her sober month in what she considered grand style.

Meanwhile, Spencer is set to take a step back from their joint podcast to concentrate on “other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge.”, reports Dublin Live.

After previously completing 30 marathons in 30 days across the Jordan desert last August, Spencer is now preparing for his next challenge.

Later this year, he plans to complete seven full Ironman Triathlons on seven continents within just a month.

Vogue meanwhile is continuing to host the podcast with older sister Amber. The mother of three is also set to grace our TV screens later this year as she co-presents Renovation Rescue with former Love Island star Luke Mabbott on Channel 4, taking over from Stacey Solomon.
