Police have identified and released a photograph of 60-year-old Maleta “Milly” Rosevear, who was found deceased in a Cornwall village earlier this month, as officers continue to investigate the ‘suspicious’ circumstances surrounding her death. Milly’s body was found at a property on Churchtown Road in Illogan on Friday, January 10.
Shortly after, Devon and Cornwall Police responded to a report of concern for welfare of a man in his 50s at a site on the A30 nearby, who subsequently fell from a bridge and was pronounced dead at the scene. Detective Inspector Rob Smith stated on Tuesday: “We continue to carry out enquiries on behalf of the coroner regarding the events which led to Milly Rosevear’s death, which is being treated as suspicious.
“We are not looking at anyone else in connection with the death. Our thoughts remain with the family and friends.”
Last week, friends and loved ones described Milly as “the most beautiful soul” who “lived and breathed for her four children and grandchildren”, reports Cornwall Live. You can read tributes to Milly here.
