Princess Eugenie has suffered a blow as her former residence is set to be demolished.
The Princess of York studied at Newcastle University between 2009 and 2012, and during her first year, she stayed in student halls of residence called Castle Leazes.
This residence is being overhauled after its demolition was approved by the city council.
In its place, Newcastle University is set to build a housing project that can fill up to 2,011 students.
