Former Bristol Rovers loanee Tristan Crama has completed a permanent move to Championship side Millwall from Premier League outfit Brentford after the French defender was recalled from his loan spell at League One rivals Exeter City.
Crama made 34 appearances for the Gas last season in what had been his first loan before heading to the South West once again last summer to join Exeter.
The centre-back has thoroughly impressed for the Grecians, scoring four goals in 26 appearances, but didn’t face Rovers in either match between the two sides this season.
Now, the 23-year-old has the opportunity to showcase his talents at Championship level with Brentford opting to cash in on the young defender whom they signed from French side Beziers in 2020, although he never featured for the first-team.
Millwall are currently 14th in the second tier and have recently appointed former Norwich City, Stoke City and Preston North End manager Alex Neil as their new boss after Neil Harris stepped down.
Speaking to club media, Millwall’s director of football Steve Gallen said: “Tristan is a player we’ve been watching for a while.
“He is a young, mobile centre-half who can handle the ball. There were a few clubs in for him but he chose us – I’m really pleased we managed to secure his signature.
“I look forward to him being a part of this football club for years to come.”
