Savers is selling a new anti-ageing beauty product that’s made with a key ingredient similar to Botox. The budget retailer has stocked shelves with boxes of Babaria Botox Facial Cream.
The cream is on sale for only £4.99, with a serum also available for the same price. Babaria is a Spanish company that makes cosmetics for the face, hair and body.
The product’s description on Savers’ website reads: ” Babaria BtoxEffect face cream provides a global anti-ageing effect.” It adds: “Formulated with Tripeptide, it smooths wrinkles and provides and antioxidant action.” Tripeptides are a skincare component that can enhance the look of ageing skin, much like Botox.
They function by stimulating fibroblasts, the cells responsible for producing collagen. This aids in rejuvenating the skin’s firmness and elasticity. As a result, they can help diminish the visibility of fine lines.
Tripeptides are known for improving the appearance of ageing skin, especially on the neck. Regular use can help smooth out unwanted wrinkles.
Savers’ latest beauty product was mentioned on popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, by a user called Nicola Niven. Uploading an image of the cream and serums on a shelf, she said: “After the tanning jelly going viral for the Babaria range I thought I would give the face cream and serum a go.”
She added: “Tried tonight and feels good. To soon to tell but £4.99 at Savers.” In the comment section, Amy replied: “This stuff is amazing! Used to live abroad and swear by this brand!”
