A missing schoolgirl ‘last seen with a unknown man and woman’ leaving a north Belfast train station has been located.

Earlier, police said they were becoming “increasingly concerned” for the whereabouts of a 13-year-old girl last seen in the company of an unknown man and woman in York Street train station.

A woman who identified herself as the young girl’s mum on social media said she was last seen in the company of a man and woman “aged in their 40s” and may have headed in direction of Midland Close near the train station.

Her family have subsequently posted on social media that the young girl has been located and is currently with police.

It’s understood overnight searches took place to locate her.
