Vogue Williams has swiftly addressed and dispelled any “rumours” of a divorce following news that her other half, Spencer Matthews, is exiting their joint podcast venture.

Speaking on the recent episode of her own show, My Therapist Ghosted Me, the 39-year-old presenter clearly found humour in the speculation, telling co-host Joanne McNally: “Spenny has quit the Spencer and Vogue podcast and now everyone thinks we’re getting a divorce.”

Keeping the tone light-hearted, she further commented on the timing of the gossip: “The biggest day for divorce is the fifth of January or something, so everyone’s like ‘it fell at the wrong time'”.

Last-week, listeners were informed by Spencer himself about his decision to leave the podcast to focus on new business ventures and an extreme sporting challenge. He gratefully said: “I’m moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge.”

He also expressed his appreciation for their audience, stating: “I’ve loved doing this show and it would never have been as popular as it would be without the listeners.”

Despite loving the podcast experience, Matthews’ move appears linked to his expanding ambitions in the sports world.

Following a gruelling series of marathons in Jordan’s deserts in August last year, he now has his sights set on what is described as his “most dangerous challenge yet”, completing a staggering seven Ironman Triathlons across seven continents within a month, reports Dublin Live.

The husband and wife podcast duo announced that their show would continue, albeit in a different format. Spencer is set to be replaced by Vogue’s older sister, Amber Wilson.

Having met on the Channel 4 reality show, The Jump, Spencer and Vogue got engaged in 2018, before later going on to tie the knot later the same year. Since then, the couple have had three children together, Theodore born in 2018, Gigi in 2020 and Otto in 2022.

While Spencer explores new ventures, Vogue has also been announced as the new face of Channel 4’s DIY show, Renovation Rescue, replacing Loose Women star Stacey Solomon. She will co-host the show with former Love Island contestant Luke Mabbott.
