Bristol Light Festival has announced two more installations making up the line-up for this year’s event. Running from Friday, January 31, to Sunday, February 9, Bristol’s annual celebration of art, light and creativity is back for its 2025 edition.
Joining a line-up that so far includes a flock of pink flamingos, a giant heart-shaped disco ball, interactive whimsical giants and much more, are two brand new pieces, including what is described as a ‘dazzling’ European premiere. Visitors to the festival will experience the cosmos and the beauty of nature ‘like never before’ as Tetra makes its highly anticipated European debut, inviting audiences on a ‘playfully interactive journey’ through the stars with a display that responds to movement.
Also joining this stellar line-up is Parallels, described as a ‘breathtaking laser-crafted exploration of natural phenomena, which will blend light, sound, and the elements to create a transcendent celebration of the harmony between art and nature’. Katherine Jewkes, creative director of Bristol Light Festival, said:“We are so thrilled to be announcing Parallels and Tetra as part of the Festival line up this year, both artists utilise cutting edge technology in incredibly diverse and unusual ways, bringing a sense of play and magic for audiences to enjoy.”
