Lane restrictions in place

A number of lane restrictions are in place this morning and causing delays for motorists.

Dundonald
The A20 Upper Newtownards Road is down to one lane in each direction close to Stoney Road (Stormont Estate) due to Phoenix Gas works – there are delays heading through Dundonald from Newtownards direction.

Castlereagh
Roadworks have recommenced on the A24 Saintfield Road heading in from Carryduff at Knockbracken Health Care Park – lane restrictions are in place.

Newtownabbey
The A2 Shore Road has lane restrictions in each direction approaching the traffic signals at Whiteabbey – there are delays in both directions (towards Jordanstown and towards the M5)
