Many of us were sucked into Twilight mania in the noughties. It started when Stephenie Meyer released the first book in the young adult series in 2005.
Then three years later, the film adaptation came out and was a huge commercial success. The movie, starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, follows the love story of a teenage girl falling in love with vampire.
And people were so obsessed with the film that they probably didn’t notice a couple of ‘mistakes’ in the movie the first time they watched it in cinemas.
TikTok account ‘Movie Messups’ recently highlighted one of the blunders they noticed when rewatching the 2008 film. In a viral video, they said: There are at least two mistakes that I saw.
“You can see a boom mic and the camera reflected in the glass [car window screen]. The other, you can see he [an extra] is wearing a vest over his hoodie. But wait for it, not any more.”
While some viewers found humor in these slip-ups, others pointed out additional oddities they’d spotted about the movie. One viewer commented: “The hospital scene kills me. Her oxygen tubes on her face kept moving around to different spots each shot.”
Another remarked: “Ok but the thing that still bugs me the most is that she leaves the truck window down in one of the rainiest areas of the US.” And a third chimed in: “OMG! I call them discoveries! I’ve been noticing stuff all my life, so happy to have found other people that get excited about this!”
No matter what people say, we still can’t get enough of the series!
