A Belfast restaurant is offering free meals to their “haters” that do not enjoy their food.
In a new promotion, Jumon is challenging its customers to bring a friend who refuses to try their food and eat for free if they’re not satisfied with their meal.
The restaurant has several locations in Belfast including their newest site at C.S Lewis Square and their established restaurant on Fountain Street in the city centre.
The meal will be on the house for both friends if their “hater” friend is not satisfied with the meal – but have cautioned people to “be sound and honest” if taking part.
Jumon have extended the invitation for their promotion throughout the whole of January which is available at both their Belfast sites.

In a social media post they said: “Haters eat for free!”
“Bring a friend who refuses to come to Jumon this January … and if they don’t like it… you both eat for free.. that’s right – on the house!
“We all have that friend so with nothing to lose now is the time to prove that point!
“But who’s it gona’ be? Tag them below.”
Niall Davis from Jumon said people typically have low expectations going into the restaurant and are often “dragged there” but end up being pleasantly surprised.
He said: “At Jumon we love our haters so much that we are more than happy for them to eat for free, so if you have a stubborn friend who would normally refuse to try our food, bring them along and if we can’t sway them over they can eat for free,
“We often have people who come into the restaurant who have been dragged there reluctantly but after trying our food they are usually blown away by how good it really is,” he told Belfast Live.
Jumon offers customers Asian Fusion cuisine and as well as a selection of cocktails.
