In the face of the current frosty weather, Dunelm shoppers don’t have to worry about their feet being cold. As part of the January sale, the homeware store has cut the price of a simple yet game-changing product.

The popular Borg Heatable Foot Warmer has been reduced from £15 to £10.50. This allows savvy shoppers to take advantage of a cheap way to stay warm without turning on the heating.

For people who regularly battle with cold feet, there’s hope with this budget-friendly item that delivers “ultimate warmth and comfort.” Shoppers can reserve their own in-store for same-day collection or pay to have it delivered.

It uses a simple microwavable heat pack to warm up and users say the warmth “lasts ages”. The heatable pad is slipped into a soft borg cover, which is entirely machine washable, reports the Express.

The large, slipper has been reduced just as Dunelm launches a 30% off sale. Other winter warmers include cosy hand warmers priced at £3.50 and a fluffy neck pillow for £8.40, ideal for home workers.

People across the UK have been trying to avoid using their central heating wherever possible due to rising energy bills. As a result, lots of these affordable solutions have become quite popular.

The personal heating device has earned glowing praise, securing a stellar 4.6 out of five stars on Dunelm’s website. One happy customer said: “The warmest feet ever with this cosy little foot warmer. Throw the beads in the microwave for two minutes and toast your feet for ages.”

Another customer wrote: “Really good quality. It’s so soft and fluffy – a treat for cold feet. A third shared: “Perfect size to get both feet in comfortably. It is easy to use and feels so soft. Heats up lovely.”

Someone else added: “The best way to warm up cold toes in winter. This item is exactly as described and does the job perfectly.” However, not all reviews were glowing.

One shopper claimed the heating pack went cold “after 10 minutes”. They added: “The bead insert is heavy and it’s just not practical.”

Someone else wrote: “I heated it for the 1 minute it tells you, but it was still cold. I ended up heating it for over 6 minutes, and it was barely warm. The beads also feel kind of crunchy and unpleasant under your feet.”
