The King and Queen hosted a significant royal gathering at Sandringham, with the Prince of Wales revealing that 45 people would be “all in one room” at the royal residence.
Beatrice’s father Duke of York was notably absent from the festivities amid controversy surrounding his links to an alleged spy.
Earlier in December, it was reported that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie would not join the Royal Family gathering at Sandringham after their parents Andrew and Sarah Ferguson withdrew.
It would have been the first time since their marriages that both York sisters had chosen to celebrate Christmas away from the traditional Norfolk gathering.

Beatrice and Eugenie have been regular fixtures at Sandringham throughout their lives, having only missed one Christmas there in the past decade during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2023, both princesses participated in the traditional Christmas walk to St. Mary Magdalene Church alongside their parents.
Princess Beatrice is expected to travel to Switzerland later this month according to The Times, despite her decision not to travel to Italy to spend Christmas with her husband’s parents amid medical advice.
