With the UK’s weather taking a turn for the worse – enter snow and ice – it’s only natural to start dreaming of sunnier shores and more tropical climates. For those feeling the January Blues, booking a holiday is a great way to perk you up and give you something to look forward to for 2025.

Even better if you can save some money in the process and currently, TUI is offering a saving of £100 for every £1,000 spent on holidays with the company, with potential savings of up to £300 per booking. The discounts apply to packages departing between May 1, 2025, and October 31, 2026, excluding Lapland holidays.

The process of taking advantage of this offer too is pretty simple – all you need to do is log into your My TUI account to find the relevant discount codes. Remember that these discounts will be applied to your booking before adding extras like insurance, room upgrades, flight seats, etc.. Plus, very importantly, the deadline to book with the discount is March 3, 2025.

Besides TUI, other holiday providers are also offering discounted packages. For instance , Jet2holidays is offering a saving of £100pp on selected packages, and Thomas Cook has early-bird deals for summer 2025 starting from £159pp, reports The Mirror.

“Booking online is a very easy experience,” praised one five-star review. “Choices for hotel, room type and board options are good. The choice of flights from different airports is good. It’s easy to book specific seats on plane and excellent that 20kg hold case is included in price together with carry on bag allowance.”

“I’ve never had an issue with TUI,” another satisfied customer remarked. “Their service has always been above other travel companies. We’ve had issues with other companies, but not had one problem with TUI, so we shall continue to give them our custom.”

Some customers, however, have pointed out areas where improvements could be made, particularly regarding loyalty rewards. “Been travelling with TUI for over 30 years and there is never any reward for loyalty,” a three-star review noted. “No free flights or room upgrades like other agents do for loyal customers.”

While that may be the case for one, another customer shared a positive experience with this travel company and said: “I received a call shortly after viewing a holiday online. Feeling overwhelmed by locking in a deal solo, the phone call gave me the confidence to book. No pressure and friendly service with general tips and advice re parking and insurance.”
