Emergency services have attended a multi-car motorway pile-up leaving Belfast.

A collision on the hill section of M2 heading country-bound occurred after 5pm.

It’s understood the PSNI, fire service and ambulance have been dispatched to the scene.

At 5.45pm, delays heading out of the city were stretching back beyond the Fortwilliam Roundabout, towards the junction with the Westlink.

The vehicles have now been moved to the hard shoulder and all lanes are open again. There are knock-on traffic delays, but these are starting to ease.
