Claudia Winkleman, star of The Traitors, has offered a ‘magic’ tip for those struggling to fall asleep.
The 52-year-old presenter suggested that people should visualise themselves in an attic with 12 windows and imagine closing each one. She believes by the time all the windows are closed in their mind, they’ll be fast asleep.
Speaking on Gabby Logan’s The Mid Point podcast, she said: “My final piece of sleep advice for anybody who’s listening is, so you’re lying in bed, you can’t fall asleep. You’ve got to imagine you’re in an attic.
“There are about 12 windows open in there. Some VELUX, some regular windows. You just need to go around and close them all. By the time you’ve done it, you’ll be asleep. It’s magic.”

Claudia, also known for presenting Strictly Come Dancing, previously revealed that BBC bosses have given her a strict directive to never interfere with gameplay during filming of the popular reality show.
The show returned for its third season last night (Wednesday, January 1). Claudia has won over fans with her witty personality during challenges and her intimidating silence during round tables, reports Surrey Live.
Sarah Fay, executive producer of the show, confirmed that Claudia is under strict orders not to disrupt gameplay while contestants are being filmed.
According to an interview with the Times, she stated: “That’s something which Claudia’s heavily briefed on, to the point where she’s probably scared to look at any of them. We never want to be part of the story and ultimately there’s a lot of money at stake. We like to set up the game, set up the boundaries and let them go.”
She also mentioned the emotional authenticity of the show, saying: “You feel like you’re watching real people going through real emotions. Those round tables are so amazing to watch.
“Often you have people who have finished their shift, should be going home and they’re like, ‘Oh, I just want to stay and watch the round table.’ You can hear a pin drop.”
The first series concluded with faithfuls Aaron Evans, Meryl Williams, and Hannah Byczkowski emerging victorious, while the second series was won by traitor Harry Clark. The Traitors returns tonight, January 2, at 8pm on BBC One.
