Amazon has reduced the price of its best-selling Echo Pop in a post-Christmas sale. Originally £44.99, you can now get your hands on the Echo Pop (Newest Gen) for £18.99 – a saving of £26. The compact Bluetooth smart speaker with Alexa features a full sound that’s great for bedrooms and small spaces.
The voice-control speaker uses Alexa to play music, audiobooks and podcasts from your favourite platforms like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify and more. Have Alexa set timers, check the weather, read the news, re-order paper towels, make calls, answer questions. You can also turn your Echo device into a Wi-Fi extender in minutes with a compatible Echo.
The Echo Pop comes in four hues – charcoal, lavender, white and teal. However, only the black and lavender colours are on sale for £18.99. The other two shades are still full-priced. The device has a stellar 4.7 out of five stars rating and more than 16,000 reviews.

A five-star review reads: “Quick delivery by Amazon. Excellent smart speaker with great quality sound. Alexa is a great assistant and I like that it connects to other smart items in my house. Love the colour and it matches the decor in the room. Easy to use and simple to set up. Highly recommend.”
Another bought it for their bedroom, writing: “Got it while it was £23 as a gift for myself. I have it by my bed, and it’s very handy. Also, the colour is very nice. Speaker-wise, I don’t really see much of a difference. I bought it also as I need a new plug for my dot, and this was the same price as a new plug, so I thought this was better.”
Another shopper rated it three-stars after having problems getting their device to play audiobooks. They said: “Bought specifically for my audiobooks but refuses to play any because of some explicit content, despite the explicit blocker being turned off, and I am fully connected to it with my audible account.”
