Robyn Lively has publicly voiced her support for sister Blake Lively, who has filed a lawsuit against actor and director Justin Baldoni over alleged misconduct during the filming of It Ends With Us.

The 52-year-old Teen Witch star took to Instagram to share her solidarity with Blake, 37, following the revelation of legal proceedings against her co-star.

The lawsuit, which emerged over the weekend, details claims of sexual harassment and attempts to damage Blake’s reputation during the production of the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel.

Robyn initially shared a succinct message on her Instagram Story, writing: “FINALLY justice for my sister @BlakeLively.” (sic)

She proceeded to share screenshots from a New York Times article detailing the lawsuit, urging her followers to “please read” the coverage.

The supportive sister added a rainbow heart emoji around Blake’s name whilst sharing the article link.

In a subsequent, more detailed response on Instagram, Robyn wrote: “It calls out those behind the ruthless and nefarious smear campaign that aimed to take down my sister.”

She added that the article “highlights the truth and what really happened, what she actually endured during the filming.”

According to legal filings, Blake Lively claims Baldoni “improvised” kissing scenes that he “insisted” on shooting repeatedly during production.

The actress alleges that Baldoni inquired about her personal sex life and showed her nude videos of other women.

Lively further claims that after filming concluded, the actor launched a “social manipulation” campaign against her in retaliation.

In a statement to the New York Times, the actress said: “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

The lawsuit also alleges Baldoni fostered a “hostile work environment” on set.

Robyn’s extended statement passionately defended her sister’s character, describing Blake as “one of the kindest, most honest and loving humans I know.”

“Blake isn’t a villain. She’s a mama bear to her core, a loving and supportive wife, a sister, a friend, and someone who worked her ass off on a film in abominable working conditions,” Robyn stated.

She praised her sister’s resilience, saying: “I’m so proud of her. Proud that she has handled herself with such grace and didn’t cave, that she didn’t allow herself to be silenced in the face of adversity and lies.”

Robyn expressed hope that Blake’s actions would inspire others, noting: “I hope this gives others the strength to do the same.”

Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, has strongly denied all allegations made in the lawsuit.

In a statement to InStyle, Freedman called Blake’s claims “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.”

The attorney further alleged that Blake had made “multiple demands and threats” during filming, including “threatening to not show up to set” and “threatening to not promote the film.”

Freedman claimed the legal action was filed to “fix her negative reputation” and “rehash a narrative” regarding the film’s production.
