Darts fans have demanded refunds after experiencing technical difficulties during Day 7 of the PDC World Championships at Alexandra Palace.
Viewers tuning in to PDCTV for the afternoon session were met with complete silence during the broadcast of the opening match between Karel Sedlacek and Rhys Griffin.
The sound issues began when coverage started at 12:30pm, leaving subscribers unable to hear any audio from the prestigious tournament.
Multiple fans took to social media to voice their frustration over the streaming problems, with many calling the situation “embarrassing” and demanding their money back.

The statement added: “Thank you for your patience.”

However, the sound problems continued even as the matches began at Alexandra Palace, leading to increased frustration among paying subscribers.
The technical glitch affected viewers who had specifically paid for access to PDCTV’s coverage of the tournament.
One frustrated fan from the United States wrote on X: “Patience? C’mon…the stream has been on for 25 minutes and it took y’all this long to even make a statement? It’s refund time y’all, this is embarrassing.”

“This is the Worlds lads not a Pro Tour it should be right,” commented one fan.
And another subscriber added: “Absolute joke Ive never seen an event go past without a serious issue. PDCTV needs a really big overhaul.”
