Your EE TV Box Pro and EE Box Mini have unlocked an exciting free upgrade with the arrival of Paramount+, bringing thousands of new television shows, blockbuster movies, original series, and family-friendly content.
EE rebooted its set-top box lineup last year with all-new hardware, but is still playing catch-up with long-established rivals like Fire TV Stick, Roku, and Apple TV 4K when it comes to the catalogue of apps available. Paramount+ made its debut in the UK back in June 2022 with more than 8,000 hours of content from brands like Comedy Central, MTV Entertainment Studios, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures and Showtime.
Get full-fibre broadband, NOW TV Entertainment, and Netflix on EE TV
With the arrival of Paramount+ on EE TV Box Pro, the plug-and-play streaming box is becoming a genuine competitor to rivals like Fire TV Stick, Roku, and Sky Stream. EE TV is sold with full-fibre broadband plans from the BT-owned brand, since everything is streamed via Wi-Fi, with no need for an aerial to watch live television. The entry-level bundle also comes with Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky History and more via the Entertainment Membership from NOW, formerly NOW TV, worth £9.99, and a Standard subscription to Netflix (£10.99)
Paramount+ requires an additional subscription, so you won’t be able to start watching without setting-up a separate account. However, like Prime Video, Paramount+ does offer a free trial period to test out its service.
With the streaming service now available from the Apps carousel on your EE TV Box Pro and EE Box Mini, you can start watching the likes of Landman, the latest drama from Taylor Sheridan, who co-created hit television series Yellowstone and creator of its prequels 1883 and 1923, with its all-star cast including Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and Jon Hamm. Like Yellowstone, the show is exclusive to Paramount+.
George Clooney’s produced spy drama The Agency brings together Michael Fassbender, Richard Gere, and Jodi Turner Smith on the streamer. Another prestige drama on the service is LIONESS, starring Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldaña, and Morgan Freeman.
And finally, original series produced created and filmed for the UK are also well represented on Paramount+, with shows like Dating Naked UK and thriller Insomnia, starring Vicky McClure, available to binge-watch today.

Animated shows like South Park and SpongeBob SquarePants, PAW Patrol, Rugrats also fill the catalogue.
Speaking about the new arrival on its streaming box, EE Partnerships Director, Alistair Wilson said: “It’s our ambition to provide EE TV customers with a truly extensive variety of the very best TV, film, and sport options — and the addition of Paramount+ adds a whole new catalogue of exciting content for our customers to stream.
“The blockbusters, new originals and hit shows offered by Paramount+ will be a welcome addition for customers and easily accessible for anyone with EE TV.”
Paramount+ has three different subscription plans, starting from £4.99 and rising to £10.99 — although all of these can access the same selection of shows, movies, and documentaries

Everything available to watch on Paramount+ can be accessed with its entry-level subscription plan, starting from just £4.99 per month. That will unlock the Basic plan, which only lets you stream on one device with ads. The Standard plan costs £7.99 a month, and that lets you stream and download ad-free content in 1080p HD on up to two devices simultaneously.
And finally, Paramount+ offers a Premium subscription tier in the UK, which costs £10.99 a month and brings you downloads to watch offline, as well as ad-free streaming across a maximum of four devices at once in 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos quality.
All of these subscription plans can be accessed directly through your EE TV Box Pro or Box Mini, making subscription management seamless and straightforward.
Speaking about the launch, Paramount Senior Director of UK Digital Business Development, Michael O’Donnell said: “As Paramount+ continues to grow in reach and popularity across the UK, EE TV joins the range of platforms through which fans of quality entertainment can access our rich content mix. We are delighted to partner with EE TV to further establish Paramount+ as one of the most widely distributed SVOD services in the UK & Ireland and look forward to building on the relationship.”
EE TV forgoes an aerial to stream live television via a Wi-Fi connection. It lets you pause, rewind, and restart shows with a few taps on the remote and (crucially) means your telly can be placed anywhere in the house with Wi-Fi signal, not in the one corner with an aerial port. While it will work with any broadband connection, EE TV performs well with the latest full-fibre broadband plans from the BT-owned brand.
EE recently became the first nationwide internet supplier to bundle a router with Wi-Fi 7 speeds. This top-tier perfroance guarantees a minimum 100Mbps connection in every room of your home, with a money back guarantee.
Beyond Paramount+, you can access over 70 Freeview channels and numerous streaming services including Netflix, Prime Video, and TNT Sports. Sky Sports, Sky Cinema, and NOW are also available through your EE TV service.
Disney+ isn’t currently available but will be added soon, EE has pledged. Multi-room viewing comes as standard with all EE TV bundles, making it perfect for watching in bedrooms, kitchens, or playrooms.
However, EE has recently expanded its TV offering beyond its own hardware, with the ability to add one of the best Sky Stream deals to your broadband package at checkout. The offer works in its high street stores and online too.
