A man found seriously injured in Bradley Stoke has died. Police have said a man was found injured on Bradley Stoke Way in the early hours of Tuesday morning (December 17).
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 2.10am and the road was closed to traffic. Despite their efforts he was confirmed to have died at the scene.
Avon and Somerset Police said his next of kin have been informed and his death is not believed to be suspicious.
Bradley Stokes Way was closed between the Patchway Brook and Fiddlers Wood roundabouts until just before 5.50am while investigations were carried out.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “A man was found seriously injured on Bradley Stoke Way at 2.12am this morning (17 December).
“Despite the efforts of emergency services, he sadly died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them. His death is not believed to be suspicious.
“The road was closed between the Patchway Brook Roundabout and Fiddlers Wood Lane roundabout until shortly before 5.50am to allow investigative enquiries to be completed.”
