A woman was rushed to hospital last weekend after an incident in Co Dublin saw her collide with a bus.
Gardaí attended the scene after an incident of alleged assault was reported on Lower George’s Street in Dun Laoghaire on Saturday, 7 December shortly after 8pm.
A CCTV clip shows a woman and two men in the middle of a brawl on the street when one of the men loses their footing and pushes the woman over.
She then stumbles onto the road as a bus drives by, colliding with the side of the vehicle.
The bus continues its journey as the woman can be seen lying on the road clutching her head.
The minute-long clip shows another woman in a yellow jacket run to the injured woman’s aid as a bystander pins one of the men to the ground.
Gardaí confirmed that the woman, who is aged in her 50s, was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital for treatment of “non-life-threatening injuries”.
“Investigations are ongoing. No further information is available at this time,” a spokesperson added.
