A number of flights from Bristol Airport have been cancelled due to Storm Darragh today (Saturday, December 7). A red Met Office weather warning remains in place across the South West with wind speeds expected to hit 90mph.

Some flights from Bristol are delayed while others have been cancelled completely. People have been warned to only travel if it’s absolutely necessary.

Bristol Airport said in a post on X: “Storm Darragh – The Met Office has issued a red weather warning for the Bristol channel. High winds are expected and will continue through the weekend.

“Disruption is expected, passengers are advised to check for any flight updates through the airline’s mobile app or website.”
