Meghan Markle’s neighbour has brutally branded the Duchess of Sussex as “not an asset” to Montecito.
A new German documentary claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex live a detached lifestyle in their exclusive Montecito community.
The programme, titled “Harry: The Lost Prince”, features candid claims from neighbours in the celebrity enclave of California, where the Sussexes have made their home with children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
One neighbour claims the Duchess of Sussex is not an “asset” to the wealthy community, but described Harry as “quite jolly”.

The revelations come just days after Prince Harry declared he has no plans to return to the UK, citing his family’s happiness in Montecito.
Richard Mineards, a Montecito resident, spoke candidly about the royal couple’s presence in the community.
“I personally don’t think that Meghan is an asset to our community… She doesn’t really go out or get involved with the community,” he told the documentary makers.
Speaking about Prince Harry, Mineards claimed: “Harry has to a certain extent because he’s quite jolly… but Meghan doesn’t seem to get seen anywhere… And you don’t see him either.”
The observations raise questions about the couple’s integration into local life, particularly as they prepare to send Archie and Lilibet to a “prestigious” private school in the area.
Local residents report that Prince Harry is occasionally spotted cycling around Montecito, always followed by his security team in a Range Rover.
The duke’s daily routine includes meditation sessions lasting 30 to 40 minutes and workouts with a personal trainer.
He can sometimes be seen walking his Labrador alone on the beach or handling school runs.
LATEST ROYAL NEWS:
Meghan maintains a more private presence, though she has reportedly joined a local mahjong group.
The couple occasionally venture out together for date nights at local restaurants like Lucky’s Steakhouse or Tre Lune, where they enjoy Italian cuisine.
Despite these claims, the Sussexes are known to have close friends in Montecito, including Oprah Winfrey and Ellen Degeneres.
Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, lives roughly an hour away in Los Angeles.
In addition, Prince Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, has also been out to Montecito to visit the Sussexes.
