Primark customers are raving about a fluffy coat that’s been hailed as “timeless”, “classy” and “perfect” for the chilly weather. The piece is from the latest Primark collaboration with Rita Ora.
The ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ singer has previously worked with the high street store to create affordable fashion items including dresses, tops, bags, and accessories. The coat in question, a £40 Faux Fur Shaggy Jacket in a striking cream colour, has been praised online as it “just looks so cosy”.
Described as a “gorgeous” statement piece, it’s an essential addition to any winter wardrobe. On Primark’s website, the jacket is listed as perfect for achieving a “timeless look”.
It features soft faux fur with a textured finish for added interest, and its relaxed silhouette with an oversized collar and open front makes it comfortable and stylish. Primark recommends layering it over evening outfits for both warmth and style.
Primark fans had a chance to see the jacket in person when an employee showcased it on social media. In a video captioned: “Wake up, it’s fur coat szn”, shoppers were amazed as the worker was drowning in cosy faux fur, reports the Mirror.
One commented they had just bought a similar coat from River Island, which was likely more expensive, while others expressed their desire to own one. A fan said: “OMG I need! ” with another branding it “stunning”.
Available in sizes XS to XL, the jacket is designed to fit a wide range of customers. If the coat seems a bit too much, the same style of material has been used to create a cosy scarf. This item, also from Rita’s collection, is priced at £16.
Customers can check the stock availability in their local store using the online tool provided below the sizing options. Some stores across the UK also offer a click-and-collect service.
After a trial run – the full list of participating stores can be found here – this service is only available in certain branches. However, according to previous reports, this should become a nationwide service by the end of 2025.
In other Primark news, fans of the newly-released Wicked film have been cosying up at home thanks to the high street store in fresh pyjamas themed around the main characters. But, some shoppers have insisted the velour Glinda and Elphaba pyjamas are “too expensive” at £32 for a full set.
