The FHO Racing team of Peter Hickman and new signing Davey Todd will return to the Briggs Equipment North West 200 in 2025 following a two-year racing absence.

In 2023, Faye Ho withdrew her high-profile BMW outfit from the event after Hickman and Josh Brookes were prevented from competing in the opening Superstock race as the carbon wheels on their M1000RR machines were deemed ineligible under the regulations of the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland (Ulster Centre).

The team did not return to the event in 2024, although Hickman – as he did in 2023 – rode his own PHR Performance machines with Ho’s blessing.

However, NW200 race chief Mervyn Whyte struck a deal with Ho at the Macau Grand Prix in November, and both Hickman and Todd will line up at the May 7-10 showpiece to compete in the Superbike and Superstock races.

“Having missed the last two years, I am happy to say FHO Racing will be participating in the 2025 North West 200 with my two-rider line-up,” said team owner Ho.

“I am very much looking forward to coming back and putting on a good show for everyone and it will be great to see all of the team’s fans again. Hope to see you all in 2025.”

Whyte said he was pleased BMW Motorrad’s official road racing squad would be back on the grid in Portrush in May.

“Davey Todd won this year’s British Superstock Championship and moves up to the Superbike series for 2025 where he is joining Peter Hickman,” said Whyte.

“Both Davey and Peter are leading contenders on the roads and tracks, and the FHO Racing BMWs have a well-established pedigree of success, so this is very exciting news for North West 200 fans.”
