With December here, it’s time to get your Christmas shopping sorted. After all, you don’t want to leave it too late and end up making rushed purchases that cost more than you planned.

If you start now, you can save some money and have peace of mind as Christmas approaches. Luckily, Aldi’s latest Specialbuys range is packed with budget-friendly stocking fillers and larger Christmas gifts, especially if you’re looking for children’s toys.

Specialbuys is the best place to see Aldi’s new items, with baby gifts and pet presents available from December 1, followed by children’s gifts on December 5. So, what’s included in this upcoming release?

There are plenty of adorable toys, including Jumbo Bluey and Bingo plushies for £12.99 each, which are sure to please any Bluey fan in your home. There are also learning activity toys for the more energetic child in your house, such as a colourful walker, table or steering wheel. Priced at £17.99 each, these toys are a fantastic way to engage your child in sensory play, promoting coordination while also providing lots of fun, reports the Mirror.

For older children, the EVO Mini Scooter might be appealing. At only £14.99, you can choose between a unicorn or dinosaur head decoration, and it’s a great way to introduce children to scooting.

Although Aldi’s products don’t currently feature reviews on their site, customers have shared their thoughts on the EVO Mini Cruiser Scooter elsewhere. A satisfied customer at Halfords commented: “The scooter was sturdy and value for money.”

Another pleased purchaser remarked: “Bought for 3 year old grandson who loves it. Easy to use.” Over at Argos, a shopper observed: “I bought this for my 4 year old. Suits very well and she loves it. Durable and worth for the money.”

Some Argos buyers, however, had less positive feedback with one stating: “The wheels on this don’t turn well so my nephew doesn’t ride this.” Another mentioned the product was “a little bit small” for their preference.

If those don’t do it for you, there are other options available. Debenhams offers the Kids Scooter with Lights, Music, Adjustable Height for 3-7 Years, now at a bargain for £28.99, whereas Not On The High Street presents an adorable Long Cat Plush Body Pillow starting from £14.95.

For those unfamiliar with Aldi’s Specialbuys, they provide a succinct explanation of the process. New items hit the stores every Thursday and Sunday, and you can preview them online the preceding Friday.

These products usually stay viewable for a fortnight post-release. This is all subject to stock availability, though, so it’s wise to act swiftly if something catches your eye.
