Tensions flared in the I’m a Celeb camp after Dean McCullough took exception to the new camp leaders being openly discussed.

On Saturday’s show, the camp found out it was time to change the leaders by secret ballot.

One by one, the campmates had to make their way to the Bush Telegraph to cast their votes.

Camp leaders Barry McGuigan and Danny Jones could not be re-elected and the camp mates were told not to discuss or reveal who they were voting for.

However, Melvin Odoom shared his thoughts with Danny and Barry, as he said: “If I go with my original idea, it causes drama for other people…” referring to the fact chores would be allocated between the remaining campmates.

With Dean McCullough overhearing their conversation, tension began to rise as he told them they were breaking the roles by conferring, and he decided to re-read the rules aloud.

Defending himself Melvin said: “I’m not discussing who I want the leader to be, I’m discussing workers.”

As Dean quipped back: “We can hear your conversation. I don’t wanna spoil it for everybody.”

Richard Coles and Oti Mabuse were elected as the new camp leaders.

Oti and Dean sat down with Coleen to chat about her life.

Dean gushed that she was so inspiring, saying about having a house and family: “If I end up in a big house, with the life that I have in visions in my head, kids, really happy, I would wanna do it like you.”

Then Dean asked: “Has the term WAG died? Is it still a thing?”

Coleen replied: “No, I still get asked about it in every interview I do. It always gets brought up.”

When Dean mentioned he felt the term was derogatory back in the day, Coleen said: “Yeah, I felt it at the time.

“I used to say we’re all individuals, we’re not a group where we’re all exactly the same person. We’ve all got our own little lives and ways and personalities.”
