A 63-year-old Toronto man has been identified as the victim of a deadly assault, while a 56-year-old Toronto man has been charged with second-degree murder in the January incident.

Toronto Police said officers responded to an assault call on Jan. 23 at a home in the Fuller Ave.-Queen St. W. area.

Police said the victim was allegedly assaulted by the accused in a multi-share residence. The victim was taken to hospital with critical injuries.

Cops said the victim and accused were known to each other. The accused was located by officers and originally charged with aggravated assault, and failure to comply with a release order.

Police said last Saturday the victim — identified as Alan Mychaluk — succumbed to his injuries. On Tuesday, the accused was located and charged with second-degree murder.

3 TEENS CHARGED IN ROBBERY PROBE

A trio from Toronto, including an 18-year-old, 16-year-old and 14-year-old, have been charged following a string of robberies in Scarborough.

Toronto Police said officers responded on Oct. 26 at about 1:15 p.m. to a robbery call in the Ellesmere Rd.-Midland Ave. area.

Police said the victim allegedly arranged to meet a potential buyer online for electronic gaming equipment when two people approached the victim wearing surgical masks. One allegedly took the computer from the victim as the other pretended to send an e-transfer before the two ran off with the computer.

Then on Oct. 28 at about 9 p.m., police responded to a robbery call in the Markham Rd.-Sheppard Ave. E. area.

Police said the victim allegedly arranged to meet a potential online buyer for electronic gaming equipment when two people approached wearing disguises. One opened the victim’s car door and allegedly removed the electronic equipment, while the second person assaulted the victim. They ran away with the computer.

Police also responded to a robbery call in the same area on Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Police said the victim allegedly arranged to meet a potential online buyer for a laptop and two people approached the victim wearing surgical masks. They allegedly took possession of the equipment before the victim was assaulted and then fled in a vehicle.

Police identified the suspects and on Thursday two were arrested.

Mikhai Harvey, 18, has been charged with two counts of robbery, three counts of disguise with intent, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The 16-year-old was charged with theft under $5,000, disguise with intent and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

That was after police executed a search warrant Nov. 22 and allegedly found items of evidentiary value related to the investigation.

The 14-year-old was charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of disguise with intent.

The youths can’t be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

MAN WANTED AFTER LEAVING HOSPITAL

A 29-year-old man is wanted after leaving the care of Ontario Shores, a Whitby hospital specializing in mental health.

Durham Regional Police said Shaundre Kerr-Davis was last seen at about 9 p.m. Monday in the Byron St. S.-Victoria St. W. area.

Police said Kerr-Davis, who frequents downtown Whitby and GO trains, is wanted on a warrant of committal. Anyone who sees him should not approach and is asked to call police immediately.

Kerr-Davis is Black and about 6-foot with a heavy build and a tattoo on the front of his neck.

TRIO CHARGED FOR ARMED ROBBERY

Three men have been charged after an armed robbery in Scarborough last week.

Toronto Police said officers responded Nov. 22 at 10:10 p.m. to a person-with-a-gun call in the Eglinton Ave.-Brimley Rd. area.

Two male suspects allegedly entered a store while a third male suspect stood near the entrance door. They allegedly began taking items off the shelves and hiding them inside bags. Police said an employee approached and one suspect allegedly produced a handgun.

The suspects left the store and fled on foot.

On Wednesday, all three suspects were located and taken into custody. Police said officers allegedly recovered a replica handgun and items of evidentiary value related to the investigation.

Muhamadou Drammeh, 38, of Toronto, was charged with robbery.

Raynold Kasongo, 29, and Chaz Alexander, 25, both with no fixed address, were each charged with robbery and failure to comply with a probation order.

2 CHARGED AFTER LEXUS STOLEN, COP CARS DAMAGED

Two men face several charges after a stolen vehicle probe led to police cruisers being damaged in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said officers were conducting a patrol in The Goreway-Brandon Gate Drs. area when they spotted a stolen Lexus 350.

Officers stopped the vehicle from fleeing, resulting in police cruisers being damaged, and two suspects fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit, police nabbed both suspects and laid numerous charges related to drugs, stolen property and weapons offences.
