CCTV footage has been released of a man police would like to identify following an unprovoked assault at a bar in Bristol. Avon and Somerset Police previously launched an appeal to find a man following the attack earlier this year.

Officers have now released footage and are urging the public for help to identify someone they would like to speak to. The assault took place in the BSB bar, on the Harbourside, at around 1am on Sunday, July 28.

The victim, a man aged in his 30s, was punched several times in the head causing injuries including a fractured eye socket. He needed hospital treatment as a result.

The man in the CCTV and still images is black, of stocky build, and around 6ft tall. He was wearing a jacket and a black baseball cap.
