FOOTAGE OF VEHICLE RELEASED IN FATAL HIT-AND-RUN PROBE

Police have released video footage of a suspect vehicle as they attempt to track down the driver of a white Cadillac Escalade that fled the scene of a now-fatal hit-and-run last week in Scarborough.

Toronto Police said that a pedestrian who was struck in a collision last Thursday — a 71-year-old man — died of his injuries in a hospital this past weekend.

Police said they responded to the crash on Thursday at about 11:50 p.m. in the Kennedy Rd.-McNicoll Ave. area of north Scarborough.

A white Cadillac Escalade travelling westbound on McNicoll turned left onto Kennedy and collided with the pedestrian before fleeing the scene.
