Former boxing champion Barry McGuigan, 63, revealed a hidden talent on last night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity, surprising his campmates with an unexpected singing performance.
The 63-year-old former world featherweight champion showcased his vocal abilities during a camp singalong following a challenging night-time task.
Fellow contestant Richard Coles was particularly impressed by the 63-year-old’s musical prowess, remarking: “Revelation of the evening, Barry McGuigan can sing like a canary, it was lovely.”
The singing talent marks a stark departure from McGuigan’s boxing background, where he was known throughout his career as The Clones Cyclone.
The musical moment came after contestants endured the Fright Bus challenge, where they had to collect luggage items while being showered with cockroaches, mealworms and spiders.
McFly frontman Danny Jones deliberately selected a guitar-shaped box during the challenge, hoping it would contain the musical instrument.

The celebrities had to guide red tokens along a bar to push the stop button and exit the bus with their chosen luggage.
Upon returning to camp, the contestants discovered various items in their luggage, including treats like Maltesers and Skittles.
Jones’ wish came true when he found a guitar, leading him to perform McFly’s song Shine A Light for his campmates.
With the camp joining in the musical moment, both Dean McCullough and Melvin Odoom took turns performing solo parts of the song.

It was then that McGuigan stepped up to deliver his own rendition of Shine A Light, catching everyone off guard with his vocal talent.
The former boxing champion was clearly pleased with the evening’s entertainment, stating: “It was brilliant, a lovely end to a traumatic and scary evening.”
The musical ability perhaps shouldn’t have come as a complete surprise, as McGuigan’s father Pat was known for singing Danny Boy before several of his son’s boxing matches.
Fans were also blown away by the ex-fighter’s signing voice and took to social media to share.
“Woah, Barry!! He should sing more often,” one exclaimed on X, formerly Twitter.
A second encouraged: “Go on Barry, absolute velvet.”
