Trainers
If you’re a fan of the popular Air Force 1 Flyknit 2.0, you can get your hands on a pair for £87.99 instead of £109.99 – plus you can get 25% extra off with the code GOBIG24.
If Air Max 1 trainers are more your bag, with the 25% discount code alone, you can bag a black and white pair of them for £101.25 instead of £134.99. Available in three different colours – black, green and a purple tone – the shoes which come in sizes 2.5 to 9.5 are hailed as being as comfortable as ‘walking on clouds’ thanks to its cushioned design.
Love the purple shade? It’s your lucky day as they’re even cheaper at £87.99 in the sale here.
Having landed on the fashion circuit in ’87, the shoes are still highly popular today thanks to their timeless design with classic Nike tick, wavy mudguard and bouncy pill-shaped Nike Air window. Get them here.
If you’re more of an Air Jordan 1 kinda girl, you can grab a pair adorned with purple and pink detailing for £83.99 instead of £119.99 (and that’s before the additional 25% off).
While they’re certainly a fashion shoe – with ‘sultry hues of rich violet, foggy pinks and cool amber’ – these Nike trainers have air cushioning for lightweight comfort all day long while the ‘cupsole construction’ adds stability and durability. Although there are limited sizes in the purple hue left, you can snag them in a blue, burgundy and more for the same price.
For a running shoe that’ll give you the edge, the brand’s Pegasus Trail 5 have been reduced to £103.99 from £129.99 here. Hailed as ‘by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve had’, the shoes are equipped with an ‘ultra responsive ReactX foam mid-sole’ to help you perform optimally on different trails.
While the support and style has been marvelled at by many, one shopper had a bit of a poor experience with the shoes stating the treat began to ‘wear off’ after just a few months. Their review read: “Honestly, loved these shoes, and I’m surprised I’m not giving them 5 stars.” They added: “The reason I’m giving 2 stars is because in only about 1 and 1/2 months, the tread has already started to wear off. I do walk almost everyday (I have not run at all with these), but for the tread to not last even two months is extremely disappointing. Everything can be perfect about a shoe but then if they don’t hold up, they aren’t worth it. I want to reiterate I loved everything about this shoe, but to have that much wear in that much time is disappointing.”
That being said, in contrast, another fan of the shoe declared: “Solid purchase, the trainers have all the support in all the right places, maximum comfort and look great!”
Workout gear
It’s not just trainers included in the Nike Black Friday sale though as branded clothing can also be snapped up for a fraction of the price, such as these Women’s Dri-FIT Running Shorts, which are now £30.49 from £37.99.
Coming in sizes XS to XXL, the shorts are available in four different colours from black to vibrant pink and deliver not just style but comfort too thanks to the smooth, woven sweat-wicking fabric.
Prefer a longer legging? These Nike GO Therma-FIT High-Waisted 7/8 leggings – with pockets – come in at £87.99 from £109.99 and are ideal for colder days running outside or in the gym. With a squat-proof make-up, the midweight InfinaLock fabric is compressive and supports you in all the right places.
Crafted with Therma-FIT technology, the trousers can also help manage your body’s natural heat to keep you cool throughout your workout. Get them here. Complete the look with the brand’s Dri-FIT running jacket (now £71.99 from £89.95) which has a stunning reflective design inspired by the constellation.
For men, these AeroSwift running trousers have been reduced to £83.99 from £104.99. Designed for ‘racing’, the slim fit trousers can be worn alone or over tights and come equipped with pockets. They’ve been a hit with fitness fans, one of which gushed: “They’re so comfy and light, delicate fabric, better than [the now discontinued] Fear Of God in a way, thank you Nike.
