A heated confrontation erupted between Roy Keane and an Ipswich Town supporter following Manchester United’s 1-1 draw at Portman Road on Sunday.
The incident occurred as Keane, working as a Sky Sports pundit, was receiving instructions from producers after the match.
The fan, identified as Neil Finbow, exchanged words with the former Manchester United captain, leading to Keane inviting him to “continue their argument” in the car park.
The altercation required intervention from fellow pundit Jamie Redknapp and Sky Sports staff.

Taking to Facebook after the incident, Finbow described it as his ‘new claim to fame’ after being ‘offered out into the car park by Roy Keane.’
The Ipswich fan detailed his grievances, writing: “I was reminding him that he set us back five years and ruined our football club. I also mentioned how he wasn’t fit to step foot anywhere near our ground.”
Finbow also referenced Keane’s decision to quit the Republic of Ireland’s 2002 World Cup campaign and when he injured Alf-Inge Haaland incident, adding: “I hate the bloke, and that’s been boiling up since he got sacked all those years ago.”
