Many families have already discovered just how useful an airfryer can be – and now it is set to be even better. Philips has launched its revolutionary dual Airfryer and steamer which it says will make overcooked and dry meals “a thing of the past”.
The Philips 5000 Series Airfryer and Steamer has two asymmetrical drawers and 12 presets. The manufactorer says it “utilises innovative AirSteam technology to combine the tenderness of steaming with the satisfying crispiness of air frying”.
Sara Vaum, Senior Product Manager at Philips said: “We understand how stressful and chaotic family mealtime can be, and how easy it is to resort to boring, basic dishes just to get everyone to the table. With the Philips 5000 Series Airfryer and Steamer, elevating your midweek meals has never been simpler.
“You can quickly explore new and exciting flavours, leaving blandness behind for good and making family mealtime something to look forward to!” The machine has all the functions of a traditional Airfryer but the larger drawer uses its unique steam-fry function to produce results it says are both perfectly tender and moist while being crispy.
The technology is said to deliver four times juicier results than a traditional air fryer and can help serve up an entire family meal in a matter of minutes. Plus, it features a convenient ‘reheat’ setting which can be used to quickly warming up midweek leftovers without drying them out like a standard air fryer.
But a major difference in the device it its steam clean function. With just the press of a button, the same technology that ensures perfectly tender vegetables and fish also helps eliminate built-up dirt and grime, keeping your Airfryer sparkling clean.
The Philips 5000 Series Airfryer and Steamer is available in John Lewis and Currys. It is usually priced £249.99 but it is currently on offer at £189.99.
