On the surface, what’s the difference between Paige Spiranac and Sabrina Carpenter?

They’re both beautiful, blonde women who have embraced their sexuality in their careers.

But one has been praised for it while the other has to fight off trolls on social media.

The golf influencer apparently has had enough of it, firing back at her critics for the double-standard and selective support of women.

Spiranac reposted a tweet about Carpenter from September which complimented the pop singer for embracing her sexuality while reaching a mainly female audience.

“Sabrina Carpenter is genius for how she embraces her sexuality but still keeps women as her target audience,” read the tweet by another X user named Paige.

“Like how is she performing in lingerie and I still feel like it’s not for men at all? I can’t comprehend it, but I love it.”

Spiranac, who aims more for a male audience with her social-media content, replied: “I dislike how women pick and choose when it’s okay to support other women for embracing their sexuality depending on if it appears to be for the female or male gaze.

“Women should be able to embrace their sexuality if that’s what makes them feel empowered,” she continued. “One shouldn’t be called a genius while the other is called an attention whore for doing the same exact thing.”

In response to complimentary reply to the post, Spiranac added that her statement was about more than just own experience.

“This isn’t really even about me. It’s a constant theme I keep seeing with other women too,” she wrote.

Carpenter has been praised for her approach to female empowerment during her Short ’n Sweet tour, which is known for its bold and risque elements. The singer’s performances have incorporated steamy choreography and lingerie-inspired outfits.

Spiranac also took to X to point out a problem with Netflix’s decision to air a clip of Mike Tyson’s bare backside on live television ahead of the boxer’s bout against Jake Paul last week.

While warming up for his fight with Jake Paul, Tyson was shown on Netflix’s live broadcast preparing backstage in his changing room.

He took part in an interview with his son Amir, who had been working the event as an analyst, during which Tyson revealed how he was feeling before hugging his son and kissing him on the cheek.

The 58-year-old former heavyweight champion predicted a “violent win” in the fight before walking away from his son and the camera.

That’s when things got a little R-rated: Tyson was not wearing any briefs under his shorts and the boxing legend’s bare backside was broadcast live on the streaming service as he slowly made his way across the room.

“Mike Tyson’s pre-fight interview got real cheeky,” Netflix posted on X along with the clip.

WARNING: Graphic content

While many were quick to joke about the situation and others angrily replied, asking about the vast amount of streaming issues that occurred, Spiranac made a wise crack about Tyson’s crack.

“Oh but it’s a problem when I do it?” Spiranac wrote on X with a screengrab of the viral moment.

Spiranac has amassed more than 5.5 million followers across her social media accounts, on which she shares golf tips, sultry snaps and other viral content.
