A Brampton man and woman have been charged with manslaughter and accessory after the fact and a warrant has been issued for the suspected shooter on second-degree murder charges in connection with a Nov. 9 fatal shooting.

Peel Regional Police say on that day at 3:06 p.m., officers responded to a person shot in the Chadwick St.-Lockwood Rd. area in Brampton.
Despite the best efforts of first responders, 37-year-old Sterling Sylvester succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Wednesday, Eileen Beardy, 34, and Lucas Cardy, 30, were charged and an arrest warrant has been issued for the suspected shooter, Anthony Beardy, 33, of no fixed address.
Anthony Beardy is described as standing 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, with a medium build and brown eyes. He is of Indigenous descent.
He also has a tattoo on the front of his neck of a skull with feathers, and a tattoo containing text on his left hand.
