Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not appear in the trailer for a new series executively produced by them.
The five-episode docuseries titled POLO is the latest project the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have collaborated on as part of their deal with Netflix.
However, the 148-second trailer focussed entirely on the polo players and their relationships within the sport.
The docuseries features a behind-the-scenes look at the world of polo, a sport close to Prince Harry’s heart.

The programme will be released on the streaming platform on December 10.
Earlier this year, an insider said the series would centre around Harry’s close friend, polo player, Nacho Figueras rather than the Duke of Sussex.
The source told the Mail: “Any reasonable person tuning into a show about polo made by Prince Harry would expect Harry to take a starring role.
“That he’s not is hugely disappointing for Netflix. Let’s face it, polo isn’t exactly a mainstream sport so the attraction would have been watching Harry. Without him, it’s marginal at best.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s were advertised as executive producers in the trailer.

“The Netflix deal expires next year, so the Sussexes need a big hit. This sounds like a big nothing burger.”
Another insider said: “For a show about a sport of kings, polo barely features any royalty. It’s not the Harry show, it’s the Nacho show.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex signed a lucrative deal with Netflix in 2020 after stepping down as working royals.
The Sussexes’ debut series Harry & Meghan was a huge hit on the streaming platform and broke several Netflix records.

However, it has been nearly two years since its release in December 2022 and the couple have only produced one other project for Netflix.
Harry released Heart of the Invictus in August 2023 but the series failed to reach the same level of success as their debut project.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did feature in Heart of Invictus although it mainly focussed on the athletes competing at the 2022 Invictus Games in The Netherlands.
The couple featured much more prominently in their debut self-titled project Harry & Meghan.
