When it comes to the iconic clog shoe from Crocs, you wouldn’t necessarily place them in the ‘winter footwear’ category. But your mind will be well and truly changed when you gaze upon these fluffy, fleece-lined beauties that have been hailed by shoppers as being ideal during the colder months.
What’s even better is that these particular Unisex Classic Lined Crocs have been reduced in price in Amazon’s Black Friday sale (which started on Thursday, November 21), and now cost £27.50 instead of £54.99 – the RRP on Crocs. Available in sizes 1 to 14 and in a wide range of colours from mustard yellow or pink to mushroom beige, the rubbery shoes that are famed for being comfortable have had a cosy update and are lined with toasty faux fur.
The shoes come in the same classic style with pivot straps that can be worn as backless clogs or in sport mode with the strap placed behind the heel.

With the ability to multi-task as both a slipper and a slip-on-and-go shoe for errands, these Crocs have been crafted with Croslite foam to make them unbelievably light-weight and practical.
They’ve had over 93,000 five star reviews with fans praising their comfiness, warmth and finish. One keen shopper said that this model of Crocs have fast become their go-to shoe, stating: “These have quickly become my go-to footwear around the house, offering a lightweight and incredibly comfortable experience. The soft, fuzzy liner provides just enough warmth to make them an excellent slipper alternative without being overly hot, perfect for cooler days.”
While the design still features the classic holes in the upper part of the shoe, don’t be fooled into thinking your feet will be drafty as one shopper shared: “They keep you feet very warm and are so comfy, perfect for croc lovers in the winter.”
Another Crocs fan added: “I’ve been on the lookout for a good new pair of Crocs as my old ones are loosing their grip from wear and tear. These are the god sends I needed, the comfortable soft lining has kept me warm ever since I purchased them – I would sleep with them on if I could! The fur isn’t a sweaty material and I haven’t found them to cause me to get too hot.”
One Crocs convert says they ‘can’t take them off’ for being so cosy and raved: “For years my friends have tried yo get me in a pair of Crocs and I swore I never would. However after putting these on for the first time I’ve not worn anything else since. All winter! My feet have been warm and comfortable. Great indoors and out. I bought them for work but can’t take them off.”
Now, as you could probably guess, if they’re being worn bare feet throughout winter, especially if using them as slippers after the shower, one by-product some shoppers have warned of is that they can ‘make your feet smell’. One Amazon customer said: “But seriously, if you are to buy these, they’ll keep your feet warm – but you might need to wash them and your feet once or twice, and also invest in a few bottles of Febreeze.”
Another issue raised was that the sizing can sometimes be a little off with some shoppers stating this design is ‘not as wide as most Crocs’. They said: “Crocs were and are great for me as I have wide feet. However these all have a liner that reduces the overall width and foot space. I ended up ordering 2 sizes and both ended up not fitting to my satisfaction, as a result I’ll stick to Crocs with socks in the winter.”
If a fur-lined shoe is what you’re after but you’re not a fan of the overall design Crocs – they’re a bit like Marmite for some, we get it – you could opt for the slightly more expensive and celebrity-approved Ugg Tasman sliders, £100. With a fur lining and suede outer, they’re ideal for the chillier seasons.
Alternatively, FatFace’s cosy and chic Elsie Outdoor Slippers have a leather upper and cork-style sole and is lined with gorgeously fluffy fur. Get them here for £39.50.
