Sky has already gone live with its 2024 Black Friday sale, joining the likes of rival provider Virgin Media, it’s now offering shoppers the chance to cut hundreds of pounds off its TV, broadband, sport, and mobile packages. And it’s £165 discount on its fancy Sky Glass TV stands out.

The 4K UHD Glass TV now starts at a cheaper £33 per month, instead of the usual £42, and this includes the price of the TV and channels – that’s more than 200 Sky TV channels and Netflix bundles in. A price drop of £9 per month, shoppers will cut hundreds of pounds off the usual price.

The deal is available on the £33 per month 43-inch and £38 per month 55-inch model (both of which comes with the same Sky TV and Netflix deal) although if you wanted to add another channel, say Sport, you can pick a custom plan. As Sky Stream package is included at the current £19 Black Friday price shoppers are saving on both the TV and TV package.

A chance to bag the swanky smart TV before the Christmas rush, it’s one of many TV deals circulating before the official November 29 Black Friday date. Sky has also reduced the price of its Sky Stream package to £19 per month from the usual £26 monthly rate – which you can buy here separately – but for those without a TV at home to plug into the Sky Glass is a good fit.

Sky Glass
The Sky Glass has Sky Stream within

With 4K Ultra High Definition screen quality, Quantum Dot, smart integrated streaming features and a Dolby Atmos soundbar this TV model has everything most shoppers would look for in a new Gogglebox…and more. Instead of having the box top Stream Box from Sky this is hidden within the TV itself so there are no pesky wires.

Not to mention the fact no boxy satellite dish is needed (you can ditch this) as everything can be streamed from your home wi-fi. And no, it doesn’t have to be a Sky broadband package if you don’t have one although it does need to be strong – Virgin Media, BT,Three are all good alternative choices with strong speed plans.

The Sky Glass TV set has always been highly recommended by our tech team as it offers hassle-free streaming and a decent quality TV. Plus, the no need to have a satellite dish is a huge perk, however, not all shoppers agree with this as it may not be the right fit for everyone.

As a Sky shopper recently shared to Trustpilot how they’ve struggled to use the TV with their broadband, even though it’s another Sky package. They said: “I have broadband also with Sky, unable to use sky glass as speed isnt good enough”, we would urge shoppers to check their speeds first as it is a known requirement to have good wi-fi.

To find the deal click on the ‘See all Black Friday deals’ and at the top of the deals page click ‘Glass’ which is where the discounted plans will appear. But if you want to shop around on TVs there are loads of other options this Black Friday.

One of which is at Amazon as it continues to drop the price of this 40-inch Hisense TV model now £179 which has been snapped up quickly by shoppers this month. Another is The Frame TV by Samsung, which discounts are more than £300.
