Sir Keir Starmer avoided disgruntled farmers who had come out to protest during his speech at the Welsh Labour conference in Llandudno yesterday.
While the conference room was in a celebratory mood, standing outside were a large group of unhappy farmers making their feelings clear about Labour’s inheritance tax changes.
The Prime Minister however didn’t go outside to address the farmers, but instead is said to have “snuck out” the building through a back exit.
This infuriated the farmers, with Gareth Wyn Jones telling GB News that the PM should have taken the time to speak with them.
He said: “Keir Starmer stood in Llandudno today, hundreds of us have been there today.
“He didn’t come and face the audience, he didn’t come and talk to us, he went out the back.
“He went back to his London hideout while hundreds of farmers turned out to air their frustrations and grievances.
“We need to feed this nation in a sustainable and affordable way and this Government does not care one iota.”

Farmers are planning to take over central London on Tuesday, with thousands expected to descend on the capital.
The day has been chosen to complement a mass lobbying of MPs by 1,800 NFU members over at Church House.
The main goal is to urge Rachel Reeves to reverse the government’s decision in the Autumn Budget to introduce a tax of 20 per cent on inherited farming assets above £1million.
The NFU has warned the measure could signal the “death of the family farm” and, by extension, pose a serious threat to the UK’s food supply.
