A man has been charged with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine in Bristol. It comes after Avon and Somerset Police was called to reports of suspicious behaviour in Easton last week.

Officers attended the scene in Lansdown Road in the early hours of Wednesday, November 13. They seized around 230 wraps of class A drugs.

Police have confirmed that Abdirisak Haji, aged 23 and of no fixed abode, was charged. He will appear before Bristol Magistrates on Friday (November 15).

Avon and Somerset Police said: “If you or someone you know is affected by drug misuse you can find details of support services on Bristol City Council’s website. Your information is very important to help to target drug dealers and tackle the associated crime and disorder which can blight our communities.

“You can report drug crime on our website or 100 per cent anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers’ online form or by calling them 0800 555 111. They never ask your name and can’t trace your call.”
