Megan Fox is getting ready to welcome her fourth child, and first with partner Machine Gun Kelly.
The Transformers actress announced her pregnancy in a social media post in which she shared one photo covered in a black ink-like substance while cradling her baby bump and a second slide displaying a pregnancy test that said “Yes.”
“Nothing is ever really lost. welcome back,” Fox said in her post, tagging her fiance’s song Last November, a track about the couple’s past pregnancy loss.
Fox, 38, shares three sons — Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8 — with her former husband, Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Brian Austin Green, whom she was married to from 2010 to 2021. Kelly (whose real name is Colson Baker) is father to a 15-year-old daughter named Cassie.
The two met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass in March 2020 and went public with their relationship a few months later when Fox appeared in the music video for Kelly’s Bloody Valentine.
After her divorce from Green was finalized, Fox announced her and Kelly were engaged in an emotional January 2022 Instagram post in which the 34-year-old musician was pictured proposing underneath the banyan tree where she said they first met.
“In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree,” Fox wrote in the caption of her now-deleted post. “We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year-and-a-half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.… and then we drank each other’s blood.”
Fox’s unique engagement ring included a diamond and an emerald, which Kelly said was their birth stones.
Their love seemed like it was destined to happen. As a teenager growing up in Ohio, Kelly told GQ that he had a poster of Fox on his bedroom wall and told one classmate that he would marry her someday.
Fox spoke on the Give Them Lala…With Randall podcast about the first time they met.
“The second that I was in a room with him and said hello to him and looked into his eyes, I knew, because I’m into (astrology), I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame,” she said.
“Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has, like, ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time. So, we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think. I said that to him almost immediately. Because I felt it right away.”
In an interview with Good Morning America in November 2023, Fox opened up about suffering a miscarriage with Kelly. “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” the Expend4bles star said. “I have three kids, so it was very difficult for both of us and it sent us on a very wild journey together and separately … trying to navigate, ‘What does this mean?’ and ‘Why did this happen?’”
Meanwhile, earlier this year, during an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Fox called her relationship with Green, who she met in 2004 when she was 18 years old, a mistake.
“I got myself into a relationship, which I of course found — no shade to Brian, unfulfilling — because inevitably, that’s what I was going to do, because I was reenacting what I watched my mother do as a child,” Fox said.
