England fans have blamed Steve Borthwick after The Red Roses crashed to a dramatic 42-37 defeat to Australia on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts looked as though they would win the clase when Maro Itoje went over late on, with Marcus Smith kicking the conversion.
For the second week in a row, however, England lost it late.
Max Jorgensen broke free right at the death to go over the line, with Noah Lolesio kicking the conversion.

At the full time whistle, Australia’s players were jubilant. For England, however, it was a tough defeat to take.
Though they played well at times, they were far too vulnerable at the back. Australia, who were considered outsiders before the clash, made them pay.
And fans on social media have started calling for Borthwick’s head after the hosts lost at Twickenham for the second week in a row.
“Get rid of Borthwick, no improvement in 18 months,” were the words of one user.
“There’s a reason the coaches left in the summer…time for RFU to grow a pair and get a proper coach in charge.”
A second said: “Get rid of Borthwick. Sack him, I’ve had enough.
“The only players who can hold their heads high are Sleightholme, Cunningham South and Smith.”
A third fumed: “Sack Steve Borthwick. He was never the right choice to replace Eddie Jones.”
Another stated: “Do the whole country a favour and sack Borthwick now.
“There is nothing positive to say about his time. It’s excruciatingly embarrassing.”
A fifth opined: “At what stage is enough enough for Borthwick? Time go surely.”
And a sixth reacted to England’s defeat by saying: “Borthwick MUST GO! Totally out of his depth. Losing to this Aussie side is an embarrassment.”

Reacting to England’s defeat, Matt Dawson admitted he was frustrated by the result because Borthwick’s men ‘had’ the match in their hands before throwing it away.
