Princess Charlene has made a heartbreaking admission about a difficulty in raising her twins with her husband Prince Albert.

The European royals are parents of twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, who turn 10 next month.

Princess Charlene, 46, spoke about her nine-year-old twins’ differing personalities and revealed some difficulties of raising the children.

She describes both her son and daughter as “curious,” however, she highlights her daughter’s tendency to question the world around her.

Charlene said: “Gabriella is very curious.

“She is very intrigued by the world and life in general.

“She asks lots of questions and demands a lot of attention.

“As for Jacques, he is curious and observant.

She added: “(he is) More reserved, he is naturally very calm,”

The 46-year-old made the heartbreaking admission that having twins means that she can spend less time with her children on an individual level.

She told People Magazine: “(it is) difficult to find time to spend one-on-one time with them.”

“The conversations I have with Jacques and those with Gabriella are so different, as well as the time spent with them.”

She described her parenting experience as vastly different to most mothers as finding time to speak alone with each child is “essential when you are the parents of twins.”

Princess Charlene, who married Prince Albert in 2011, had their twins on 10 December 2014.

The royal twins are expecting to make more public appearances after they turn 10 years old next month.

Last year, for their ninth birthday, the Monaco Royals released a photo of the twins taken the month prior on Monaco’s National Day.
