We all love Bristol. There is the art and culture, the city’s vibrant food and drink scene full of independent businesses and the benefit of being on the doorstep of some of the country’s most stunning countryside.
However, its people are what makes Bristol really special. They are the reason why so many people have chosen to make the city – and surrounding areas – their home.
But it takes years before a person can really say they know everything there is to know about this ever-changing city and the colloquialisms unique to this part of the world. There are words we hear daily here which sound unusual to people from other parts of the country, and new ones are being added all the time.
