I am wondering if the Nov. 7 editorial “Massive rebuke for left-wing know-it-alls” was intended as an editorial or an ‘in-house’ staff memo meant to be sent directly to Warren Kinsella?

Re “Trump not only won but also taught valuable lesson to those in need of one” (Joe Warmington, Nov. 6): Warmington’s paean to Donald Trump has to be one of the finest pieces of political satire ever written.

WHAT DIVIDES US
Re “Trudeau’s long division” (Brian Lilley, Nov. 5): Thank you, Justin Trudeau. Long swords on the streets of a Canadian city and a battle over Indian politics and religion. Another outstanding and embarrassing Trudeau moment on the world stage. It’s interesting that he holds no one, including himself, accountable but simply said, “Every Canadian has the right to practice their faith freely and safely.” Trudeau definitely did not show the strong leadership that Mayor Patrick Brown did. This is Canada. There is no way the politics of India or any other country should be played out on the streets of any Canadian city. Trudeau’s open-door policies and lack of immigration controls are what created this mess, something he just woke up to a few weeks ago. Canada has always been acknowledged as a melting pot of nationalities, cultures and people. Individuals and families came to Canada to get away from religious strife and suffering, to be embraced by open, friendly and welcoming Canadian arms and the possibilities of a bright future. Trudeau has turned this country into a melting pot of hatred, religious feuds, and bladed weapons on our streets. It’s time to stand strong as Canadians, remove this hatred and these religious zealots from Canadian soil, and tell these individuals, ‘Canada isn’t for you, we will not tolerate your violence and religious hatred, please leave.’ And, as polite and respectful Canadians, we would also say, ‘Please take Justin with you.’
