Canterbury of New Zealand has unveiled the new British & Irish Lions rugby jersey, featuring a deeper shade of the iconic red usually worn by the side ahead of their tour of Australia next year.
The updated design incorporates a classic jacquard pattern woven into the fabric, celebrating the unity of the four nations that form the legendary team.
The jersey proudly displays England’s rose, Scotland’s thistle, Ireland’s shamrock and Wales’s feathers, embodying the rich heritage and collective strength of the British & Irish Lions.
The new jersey features a grandad collar, a design choice made in direct response to feedback from Lions fans during Canterbury’s research.

The kit incorporates Canterbury’s advanced Vapodri technology, engineered to maintain players’ comfort and temperature regulation during matches.
Former British & Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton played a crucial role in the development process, consulting on player requirements.
The jersey underwent rigorous on-field testing to ensure durability and performance at the highest level.
In a significant technological advancement, the adult version of the jersey features an embedded Near Field Communication (NFC) tag in its bottom right corner.

Andy Farrell, who will lead the side next summer, said: “Excitement is really starting to build for next year and this jersey launch is only going to add to it.
“That goes for me, all rugby fans, and all those who are playing for places on that touring squad.
“I know how special the Lions jersey is to the players who are lucky enough to put it on and add to the years of history and prestige which it carries.
“It also holds a special place for the Lions fans around the world who can connect with us and be a part of our team by supporting us in that same red jersey.
“I’m sure they are going to love this new design and I look forward to witnessing the power of the Sea of Red in Australia once again.”
