American comedian and actor Rob Schneider has warned free speech is “under assault” in Britain after an explosive row on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.
Speaking on GB News, the Home Alone star said the UK is in “endgame” territory as he harked back to his interview with Ed Balls and Susanna Reid in which he claimed the pair blamed misogyny for Trump’s win.
He also took aim at Sir Keir Starmer after Elon Musk’s heavy criticism of the UK prime minister.
“I would just warn your viewers, free speech is under assault in the UK”, he said.

“It’s not the beginning, it’s the beginning of the endgame for free speech in Britain.
“I warn you, the Government would love to kick out X. Dissent is the fabric of democracy. Having to defend your policies is the job of government.

“If the government or any agency decides they will always choose to shrink democracy and free speech in favour of what benefits the government narrative.
“That is my warning to the UK, and that has been rejected in the US.”
In his interview on ITV, he clashed with the two presenters after he criticised a previous guest on the program, political commentator Mehdi Hasan.

The controversial actor was shut down by Susanna Reid who was forced to step in during his rant.
Mehdi Hasan has made an attack on Donald Trump”, he said.
“I understand you want to take issue with that but please don’t turn this into a personal attack with Mehdi Hasan who is not here to address your comments.”
Schneider went onto claim both Balls and Reid had used the word ‘misogyny’ while discussing the Trump result, something the pair furiously rallied against.

‘Neither of us used the word misogyny Rob, are you sure you were watching our programme?”, Balls asked.
Schneider snapped back by insisting they had said so, adding he will “bet £10,000” they did.
Urging the actor to move on, Balls said: “I feel like we’re on Saturday Night Live here, Rob, are we on Home Alone 4? I think this interview has taken a bit of a turn.”
